The ISEE, the Independent School Entrance Examination, is also sometimes referred to as the ERB as it was developed by the Educational Records Bureau. It serves as an important factor in the admissions process by many independent and boarding elementary, middle and high schools.

Whether you're just starting out or you've been preparing for a while, I can help you raise your scores significantly. Together we will boost your verbal reasoning skills, tackle core math concepts, enhance your reading comprehension abilities, and increase your vocabulary.

The work we do together during our lessons is only part of the process. To ensure that you get the best preparation possible, I will have you apply the knowledge you've learned to homework, drills, and full-length practice tests.

The ISEE is a very predictable test, so by becoming familiar with the ins and outs of the test itself, we can ensure that you feel confident on the day of the exam. The less surprises you encounter, the less anxiety you'll feel and the better you'll do.

Each of the four sections, (Verbal, Math, Reading, and Quantitative), are given both scores ranging from 760 to 940 and stanine rankings. The stanines indicate how well you did, with scores of 1 to 3 representing a below average score, 4 to 6 an average score, and 7 to 9 an above average score. Rather than contributing to your score, the essay is sent to schools along with the ISEE score report. Points will not be deducted for incorrect answers.
